Now Available in K-Cups!
Wouldn’t it be lovely to be able to travel around the globe, sampling the very best coffee from each region? If you love coffee as much as I do, it would be a dream come true!
So then comes the reality check – and no, I’m not a globe-trotter in any fashion. As cool and amazing as that would be, it just isn’t part of my world, or my budget.

But, take heart. Our friends at Atlas Coffee Club have the next best solution for us, and in particular, for those of us who enjoy brewing our java with K-cups.
Atlas Coffee Club has done all of the work for us, giving club members the opportunity to try coffee from around the world:
- They curate the world’s best coffee
- They roast it fresh and deliver it to club members each month
- Each coffee delivery includes the coffee itself, explanatory flavor notes, a history of the particular coffee, and a postcard
It’s like receiving a gift each and every month!
Please note that while I was gifted with K-cups from Atlas to try, the comments in this post are my own honest opinions of the product.

K-Cup Lovers Can Now Enjoy Atlas Coffee Club

Atlas Coffee Club offers a variety of ways to enjoy their world of coffee – they have something for every taste and brewing method.
For example, you can choose whole bean or ground coffee.
The type of grind is flexible as well: Regular drip machine, French press, pour over, expresso, aeropress, cold brew, or just plan regular grind coffee.
And now, K-cup coffee has been added to the list of available options. The folks at Atlas Coffee Club have done so much more than create a K-cup option, my friend.
Their goal has been to provide K-cup lovers with a truly better tasting product and a new world of options. How have they accomplished this?
- by taking the time, lots of it, to determine the perfect grind size, roast development levels, and specific gram fill amounts
- by adding about 20% more coffee per pod to ensure the best flavor and experience
- by committing to a worldwide variety, with coffee from countries like El Salvador, India, Tanzania, and beyond
- by shipping the coffee pods directly to the consumer for peak freshness
- by paying above Fair Trade prices
- by ensuring that each pod is 100% recyclable
Atlas Coffee Review
When I was invited to try the K-cups from Atlas, I readily agreed! What do I think of these convenient K-cups with exotic coffee? I am very impressed.
First, I really enjoyed learning about the coffee itself with the enclosed description card. The location of the growing region, the process used, altitude, and more are conveyed on these little cards, as well as a history of the coffee development in that country or area.
While it’s not the same as actually traveling to that part of the world and seeing the coffee plants and process for myself, it gave me some valuable insight into where and how the coffee was produced. That adds value to me as a consumer.

And, the addition of a postcard is pretty cool. The images above show the front and back of the HONDURAS card. With a beautiful picture of the area where the coffee originated on the front, an informative description on the back, AND the opportunity to share a discount on the first order with a coffee-loving friend, it is something functional and fun, whether it’s mailed or hand delivered.
Plus, it’s always interesting to see if I can taste the notes as described. For example, I received the Ethiopia K-cups with tasting notes of lemon zest, almond milk, and hazelnut. The other coffee I received was Honduras, with cantaloupe, baker’s chocolate, and caramel tasting notes. I drink my coffee black, and yes, the tasting notes were there. Like most coffees, they don’t jump out at you – you have to hone in to the mouthfeel after taking a sip and consider what you’re tasting besides the fundamental coffee flavor. It’s pretty interesting.
My preference is always a coffee roast that is strong and deep in flavor. Atlas Coffee offers a medium-dark roast, and that is what my samples were. Although they were a bit lighter in taste, the depth of flavor was there and I thoroughly enjoyed them, particularly the Ethiopia roast.
I also noticed that these coffees were quite smooth and not at all bitter. Very nice!
